Where Can I Pre-order A Full (not Upgrade) Version Of Windows 7 Professional?
I’m planning on using Windows 7 as the operating system for a computer that I have yet to build, so there won’t be any OS to upgrade from. As such, I’ll need to obtain a version of Windows 7 Professional that can do a clean install.
This is very strange, i can’t seem to find anything… weird.

i found a way! it’s not exactly preordering though. you can just buy a copy of vista, and you’ll get windows 7 free “When it’s avaliable” the only problem with this though, if windows 7 is a sellout, you might not be able to get your copy for a while.

Places like Amazon are selling the standalone versions right now, too. Looks like they’re charging the full price though. There’s not really any advantage to pre-ordering now versus just waiting until October unless you’re going after the upgrade discounts.
