Hello, I just developed a love for computers and I learned what Windows 7 and it’s release candidate were, but when I went to the Microsoft website all excited, looking forward to a new operating system I read that they were no longer providing downloads. Does anyone know if I could download the release candidate from somewhere else? And if so, from where? Thank You So Much!
I tried downloading the latest Yahoo toolbar so the Yahoo Mail would show-up among the possible programs in the Windows 7 software. It doesn’t work.
i just downloaded Windows 7, and it even said my download was complete and successful. But when i went to see if my start menu was diferent,it looked the same. i have/had windows xp home editon. is there any reason why my menu is looking the same.
I have a laptop without an optical drive so I can’t buy a Windows 7 disk without buying an external dvd reader $_$ If I could download Windows 7 instead, that would be great… however, would it be in .iso format so I can make it bootable on a flash drive?
Windows 7 is a little different from Vista or XP.
As you can tell….I have a problem. I have installed windows 7 and I have windows Vista taking up WAY TOO much space on my D drive. PLEASE HELP ME

Will I be able to use a serial from a windows 7 preinstalled laptop to do a clean (non crapware) install if I use a retail image from the web?
because I take it the only disc i will get will be a reset to factory settings one.
(so I download a retail disc, then use the serial from my laptop that I will purchase with win7 preinstalled to do a clean install from the retail disc?)

Yesterday, I upgraded to Windows 7 Evaluation Build 7100 and my computer started to glitch. I want to go back to Vista but since I “upgraded” to the new OS I can’t do so without completely installing Vista again, losing all my currents files if I don’t back them up. I’m curious, though, would a system restore get Vista back?
I have an AOC monitor and Windows 7. The desktop is too big for the screen. Changing the resolution keeps the desktop the same, but makes the icons larger. Making screen adjustments just SHIFTS the screen but doesn’t make the overall display smaller. Any idea how to make the entire desktop smaller so all of it will fit?
