Can this be done? I know you can upgrade from Vista to 7 Ultimate, but I’m interesting in buying a PC that comes with Windows 7 Home Premium installed. Will I be able to upgrade this to Ultimate if I want? Thanks!
Anyone know where you get the Windows 7 upgrade that you were promised if you bought a qualifying computer in the past few months? Mine qualified but I don’t know where to get it.
I recently bought my pc and it came with a free upgrade to windows 7 but I am worried that if I update my pc some of the games I have torrented wont work.
If i have windows vista 32bit can i get a free 64bit windows 7? I do know i get a free windows 7 32bit but can i change it to a 64bit instead? or will 32bit be ok for my computer? I heard 32bit was the problem. i have a hp g60-428CA notebook.
I just got the Windows 7 upgrade disc and when I run the HP Upgrade Manager it keeps saying that I failed the “AC adapter connected” test. What does that mean, and how do I fix it? Any help is much appreciated!

I recently bought a new lenovo 3000 g530, and one of the main reasons I chose this above others was that I thought that it came with a free windows 7 upgrade.
It runs Windows Vista Home Premium, so I was under the impression that that automatically qualified me for a free upgrade.
But when I try to apply, it does not show my specific model as a qualifier.
Any g530 owners have similar experience?

Hi, im about to upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate, But i want to keep some files such as pictures, and hopefully some software. I mostly only want to keep my pictures because i wont mind re-installing my games and programs. But is there any way to do this?
