I Downloaded Windows 7 On My Laptop And It Disabled Some Controls?

I have an HP tablet laptop and when I downloaded Windows 7 it disabled a lot of the external buttons, such as volume, brightness, and screen orientation. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this?

How To Do A Windows 7 Clean Install On A Win7 Laptop When They Come Out?

Will I be able to use a serial from a windows 7 preinstalled laptop to do a clean (non crapware) install if I use a retail image from the web?
because I take it the only disc i will get will be a reset to factory settings one.
(so I download a retail disc, then use the serial from my laptop that I will purchase with win7 preinstalled to do a clean install from the retail disc?)

I got a new laptop from the dell website ( dell inspiron 15 ) and it has a windows 7 update offer. Do windows send me a disk? Does my laptop just update its self? How do i recieve it or what ever?

I have it ordered, but not only has it not shipped, it isn’t showing any kind of status message or estimated ship date. I was wondering if it’ll take a while, or if i should contact their customer service and find out whats going on.
