I want to install windows 7 onto my Acer aspire 6930g laptop, it is currently running vista. However, i would like to keep all my games and programs when i install windows 7… is this possible?

When Clean Installing Windows 7, Can I Transfer Most Program Settings By Copying Over The “appdata” Folder?
I have Vista 32-bit, and I am going to do a clean installation of Windows 7 64-bit. If I backup my AppData first, and copy it over again after installing Windows 7, will I be able to preserve most of my program settings?

Does Installing The Same Windows 7 Copy On 2 Computers Deactivate Previous Installation?
Does installing the same Windows 7 copy on 2 computers deactivate previous installation?
For example, if I install a legitimate copy of Windows 7 onto my PC and activate it, then use the same disk and key on another PC and activate it, will it deactivate my previous installation? Or will it not let me activate the 2nd one until I deactivate the previous one?

ok so i used poweriso and mounted the iso image of the windows 7 to a blank dvd. i have restarted my computer many times ans even changed the bios settings but it still wont even show the option to boot from the disk. please help!

How Can I Recover My Programs After Installing Windows 7?
Well, I just finished installing windows 7, to see if I’d like to purchase it later on when it becomes publically available.
I think I’ve lost all my data and my recovery drive was somehow wiped too. Any way to retrieve all my information and program files again? Or just go back to windows vista with all of my programs?
