If i download and install windows 7 onto a hard drive and then move that hard drive to a new system. The new system would be a new motherboard,proccesor,and ect. Would my OS run on that new system?
I have only 10gb of space left on my laptops hard drive with XP on it. Can I install Windows 7 on my external hard drive, and dualboot that way?
My external hard drive also has files on it so I’d rather it not be formatted by installing Windows 7 on it, if that’s possible?

I don’t have any DVDs and I really want windows 7 RC, it looks amazing so if there is any other way to install it please tell, also I am running windows vista.
I have Windows 7 Beta on one hard drive and want XP on another hard drive, I installed XP on the other drive and it only booted XP up and when I tried to boot 7 up it said a file had to be re-installed, so i repaired it and 7 works again, but I can’t use them both without one not working/booting up

Hi, Currently I am running Windows XP 64bit on my first hdd, I would like to install Windows 7 on my second hard drive, does anyone know how to do this so i can keep Windows XP on my first HDD without loosing all the data for XP and have a dual boot between Windows XP 64bit and Windows 7.
P.S I know that windows 7 is only the release candidate!
