I just got the Windows 7 upgrade disc and when I run the HP Upgrade Manager it keeps saying that I failed the “AC adapter connected” test. What does that mean, and how do I fix it? Any help is much appreciated!
I was just wondering and think it would be assume idea, as you wouldn’t need to open up media player to View or listen to media as it would be build into windows explorer, and it would also obviate the need for these extra peaces of software. As some people don’t even need to use media player to organize the songs ETC. they can just use explorer. And i also wonder this because you have download media player separate, because it wont be installed with Windows 7? what your ideas on this?
I have a vista laptop and I want to change to window 7 but the I don’t see any driver that will say that it will support windows 7so does that mean if it says it support vista then I am good?
Will the format option on the Windows 7 RC installer wipe out all my data on my Hard Drive?
Everybody is saying that windows 7 is good and to download the free beta version. I want to but if it deletes everything on my computer I won’t!
ok so i have vista and i am going to upgrade to windows 7. i know there are 2 options for installation: the upgrade option and the custom option. wat exactly does the upgrade option do? i kno it says its to keep ur program and settings or something? does that mean that i wont have to reinstall all of my programs? or is it still a clean install?
I’m trying to install Windows 7 and it says it will restart multiple times doing so. Well, when it restarts, my computer asks me to press any key to load from CD/DVD, and Windows 7 starts over.
Why?
I have installed the Windows 7 RC, and am currently debating whether to keep going with it or to go back to Vista.
What’s going to sway me is the Windows 7 Ultimate pack. It’s a bit pricey for one user, but if shared over several users it’s worth in my opinion.
I’ve done my best to find this out, to no avail, and was wondering if one of you lovely people knew the answer. How many people can install Windows 7 on a single “Ultimate” Product Key?
