If I build a custom computer can I install windows 7 from the start, or do I have to install a different OS in first, also when the time comes, how do I remove windows 7? Do I just put my OS disk in?
Its on, its installed, i have problems with it, I didn’t dual boot it, now, how do i remove it? I had vista on my dell inspiron 1521, and still have the old windows files on the hard drive, but i dont have the original boot disk for vista… is there any way I can get rid of Windows 7 without formatting the hard drive and getting the vista boot disk?
I need to keep all of my important files on my windows vista, but i want windows 7 also. I need to know how to put both of them on my same computer

ok so i used poweriso and mounted the iso image of the windows 7 to a blank dvd. i have restarted my computer many times ans even changed the bios settings but it still wont even show the option to boot from the disk. please help!
WOW, I got windows 7 and internet isn’t working, it isn’t firmware or anything, it’s my computer being stupid. Um…Put xp pro install disc in drive…nothing happened. PUH-LEASE Help. Thank You.
So I’m building a new computer soon. I really want to start using it straight away. Which OS should I install (of XP and vista) if I plan on upgrading to windows 7 once it comes out? I’d really like the transfer to be quick and painless. Also I’ve heard of people running multiple OS how do you do this?
I’m running vista and am trying to upgrade to windows 7 beta, but am wondering how to complete save my computer as is, before in case the beta of windows 7 is flawed.
So, I want to have a back up of programs docs basically everything in case i need to revert to vista.
