What Kind Of Discount Would I Get When Upgrading To Windows 7 From Xp? I Know It Hasn’t Been Released Yet?

i don’t think anyone can give me an exact amount because it hasnt been released yet but just a ballpark figure would be great as to what kind of discount they offer when upgrading to the (not released yet) windows 7 from windows xp… anyone know how around how much windows seven will cost before this discounted price…just another ballpark.

If you want guesses, I’d look at Vista’s pricing.
No, they haven’t announced anything yet, nor things like if XP will be eligible for upgrade pricing.
Given you can’t technically upgrade directly from XP to Windows 7, it actually might be expected that you can’t purchase an upgrade version if coming from XP and you’ll have to purchase a full version (or purchase a new computer with it installed).
Supposedly a recent Best Buy memo indicates advance purchase upgrade pricing to be $50 for Home Premium and $100 for Professional (see link), but again, that’s very likely just coming from Vista, if accurate at all.

I think you could get discount, It’s not out yet, but there’re FREE Beta versions you could download.. I would recommend to wait until it’s stable..
