Is It Possible To Wake A Computer Using Windows 7 From Stand By A Scheduled Task?
I an running Windows 7 and would like to know if it is possible to wake a computer that is in stand by using a scheduled task because i know its possible with XP.

Yes, it is. I haven’t played much with scheduling on Vista, so I can’t give detailed instructions, but it appears to be somewhat different from on XP.
Try this:
1. Bring up Control Panel.
2. Click System and Maintenance.
3. Scroll down and, under Administrative Tools, click Schedule Tasks.
4. In particular, I think the Trigger tab on the lower pane should give you some options.
Also note that being Administrator seems to give a different set of options overall.
