If I First Download And Install Windows 7 On Hard Drive Will That Work On New System?

If i download and install windows 7 onto a hard drive and then move that hard drive to a new system. The new system would be a new motherboard, proccesor, and ect. Would my OS run on that new system?

Microsoft released a windows 7 ISO which you can burn to a cd to make a normal windows disk. You can use that as much as you want. http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/11/10…
    Theres the ISOs.
And Download Imgburn. Its free and will burn it to a dvd for you.
Drivers will be a pain if you try to move it. If you do copy the drivers from the new systems disks into your drivers folder in the windows32 folder before you move it.

    Hello Bowei,
There are multiple ways to install Windows 7 on your system, including reformatting your drive while you install or installing on a netbook. This however won’t work. Check out ways to install Windows 7 here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo…

No Not normally, It might start up only if the the motherboard uses the same chip set. But it would still mean you would have to re activate it. It’s not a good Idea.

No. some of the files will go to the BIOS or load into memory.
