I Was Getting A Net-book With Windows 7 Starter Then Another One Said Windows 7 Starter 32-bit Which Is Better?
I asked a question before if I could do an upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I was told I had to wipe out Windows XP before I could. But how exactly do you wipe out Windows XP and then install Windows 7?

Save your important files to cd or flash drive.
Put the win 7 install disk in the drive and reboot from cd/dvd.
Then follow the instructions including format, it is quite easy
That’s correct. There is no upgrade path to Windows 7.
To Install from the DVD do the following:
1. Insert the Windows 7 DVD into your DVD drive, and then restart your computer.
2. When you see the “Press any key to boot from CD” message, press any key to start the computer from the Windows 7 DVD.
3. At the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to start Windows DVD Setup.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to select and format a partition where you want to install Windows 7.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Windows 7 Setup.
you simply insert the windows 7 install cd, and boot your computer.
Once during the installation you will have to option to choose the partition that you want windows to be installed to. Simply select the partition where xp resides on and it will ask you if it should format the partition.
Select yes, and xp is gone.
While installing, when asked, simply choose “Custom” instead of “Upgrade”. Select the drive you want to install to and you’re ready to go!
Boot from the Win7 DVD and format (NTFS) the partition with XP on it.
