How Do I Install The Windows 7 Rc If I Am Running Windows Xp Media Center Edition?
I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition on a 2006 Dell Dimension E521 with 1 GB of ram a 160 GB hard drive. I want to know how to do a CLEAN installation of the windows 7 release candidate.

ok just shut down put the disc in boot and then there would be an option in the installation to format partition and install
If you want to do a clean install Just insert the disk you burned the ISO image to in your dvd-rom drive and reboot your PC. The rest is following the instructions provided.
For dual boot I recommend downloading burning and running the G-Parted ISO so you can re size your hard drive so both Operating systems can co-exist on the same drive without you loosing any data. In case for whatever reason you end up not caring for 7 your bases are covered.
The full installation instructions are on the Microsoft W7 RC download page.
Hint: Look on the 2nd Tab:
Just download Windows 7 beta version off Microsoft’s website and install it. It should work unless you have a really old computer. Be sure to check the Windows 7 system requirements. Google it.
I wouldn’t do it. If your computer is working fine, leave as is. If you must have Windows 7, buy a new computer with it already on it when they come out. You could ruin your computer.

Burn it to disc as an image and reboot.
