Hi Guys I Want To Know About Windows 7 And About Its Drivers?
Hi guys,
Have windows 7 launched in india? If no then when it will be. And if yes then whats about its cost! I also dont have drivers of my laptop for windows 7,and i had also visited to lenovo website but i didn’t find them there,so what to do? Do windows 7 needs its own drivers? I have vista drivers . Will it be possible to install them on windows 7?

Windows 7 is only out as pre-release versions at this point (Beta, RC, and RTM). If there are no Windows 7 drivers, try the Vista ones as they should work for you.
Windows 7 will be available worldwide on Oct. 22, 2009.
I’m not sure about the availability of Win 7 in India but Vista drivers should work with Windows 7 and windows update is pretty good at checking online for the latest compatible drivers.
Vista stores it drivers in C:WindowsSystem32
DriverStoreFileRepository.
You can copy this directory to a dvd. When you install Win 7, go to device manager and any missing drivers can be loaded by pointing to the dvd. Win 7 will search the dvd and load the appropriate driver.
Windows 7 hasn’t launched anywhere.
You can the beta for free but you would have to wipe your currently machine completely.
