Going Back To Vista From Windows 7 Rc After The Version Ends?
When the Windows 7 RC version ends next year and you either need to buy Windows 7 and do a clean install or Do a clean install of an older Windows OS using the CD (Vista). What if you don’t have the Vista CD as i don’t cause my computer came with the OS. HP has its on Factory Image and its own recovery manager but can you use that to go back to Vista? If not then what could you do?

When you come to install Windows 7, make sure you choose the upgrade option, doing a clean install will ruin your chances of recovering it back to vista, or uninstalling windows 7.
Use the factory settings partition. Backup your files to a external hard drive then boot to your factory image setting. Then it reinstalls vista. No need for product key as its slipped in to the reinstall. If you want 7 just buy a copy after and install it like the rc.
You can download an OEM copy from a torrent site and put it on a DVD CD, then just use that.
And as for the Moron that said Vista blows, you’re an idiot and should stop saying that because you’ve probably never used Vista, or where too stupid to turn off UAC.
HP’s factory image should get you back.
Otherwise you’ll have to ask for discs from them (HP).
But you should generally plan to purchase the final version of Windows 7 and fresh install to that.
you should have made recovery disks
also you should be able to recover it from your recovery partitionhttp://www.wikihow.com/Create-Recovery-D…
As long as you did not change the recovery partition this will work.
Vista Blows..
