Can I Install Windows 7 On Partitioned Hard Drive?
I have Windows Vista installed, and I want to download the Windows 7 RC, can I partition my HDD and install it there?

You can, however the RC download is no longer available. Your best bet is to find a friend with the ISO on a DVD who will let you borrow it. You can still get a key here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalc…

Maybe, As long as the partition is big enough to hold the OS with some extra space.
I don’t know the specifics, but that’s called dual booting.
The best thing to do is back up your current installation of Windows Vista & all your personal files & just try it out.
absolutely.Download win7 burn the iso to disk,boot with the disk in the drive,install it to the second drive (d ?),not C or it will erase your vista install.It installs really quickly too.Make sure you copy the key code they offer at the download site.At ensuing starts you will be offered a choice of which OS to boot into Vista or Windows 7.
risky, you might loose vista trying to partition a drive with an os already installed but there is software out there that will do it..
the best route would be to buy a second hd and install 7 on it, this is how i have my system setup and it works fine minus vista +xp, 7 & linux
