Why Do People Think Windows 7 Is Going To Be Better Than Vista?

I have tried Windows 7 and it still has the same interface as Vista, and it has the same speed as Vista. Sure it has more features but I think will still complain because they will not know how to use it. Do you have any other reasons?

Excuse me? Are you sure you didn’t notice any difference?
First of all, Windows 7 boots up and shuts down like, three times faster than Vista. Games run almost as smooth as XP, applications launch quicker than XP. Windows 7 isn’t as memory hogging as Vista either.
Windows 7 fixed so many things many people complained about Vista. The most noticeable one would be the UAC changes. Then there is the superbar; the first real change to the taskbar since Windows 3.0. New layouts for MS Calculator, Paint and Wordpad. There is better device managing and many, many more.
One of the most important point of all is compatibility. Users won’t experience the compatibility issues they had during their migrate from XP to Vista. 7 has more than 90% compatibility to Vista. There is even the XP Mode which you can download for free if you have Windows 7 Professional or higher. It is a fully functional copy of Windows XP.
There are really too many things to say about Windows 7. I admit I never really liked Vista and didn’t have high hopes for 7 but it turns out so much better than I thought.
I don’t know about you, but for now, Windows 7 owns all!

i think it’s because vista is one of Microsoft’s dud operating systems.
They rushed it all so that they could bring out a new operating system and make more money and they hadn’t brought one out in a while so they needed to create a new one because XP was getting out of date(XP is Microsoft’s best operating systems).

I don’t know what people you are talking about. Personally I will keep Vista. I have it on 3 Desktops and 1 Laptop and they all work flawlessly so I have no use for Windows 7 except to Dual boot and use it until next March when it is no longer free.

  4. windows 7 will be like vista with sp2 without the vista name
