What Does It Mean When I Fail The “ac Adapter Connected” Test On The Windows 7 Hp Upgrade Manager?

I just got the Windows 7 upgrade disc and when I run the HP Upgrade Manager it keeps saying that I failed the “AC adapter connected” test. What does that mean, and how do I fix it? Any help is much appreciated!

If your computer if plugged in, like Marky suggests then it could be outdated hardware. Check to make sure your hardware is up-to-date. You can run updates on your computer to check.

I’m pretty sure that just means that your computer is not plugged in. The AC adapter is most likely the power supply. If your computer is plugged in and you’re still getting this result then I’m not sure what to tell you.
