If I Upgrade My Computer From Vista To Windows 7, Will I Lose Everything On My Computer?
I am thinking of getting windows 7, but I am afraid I will lose everything on my computer. Will this happen?

If you have vista then no but if you go from xp to 7 then yes. but if you want to be sure buy a external hard drive and copy all your stuff onto it then after you update if you don’t have all your files copy them back on to your computer and return the external hard drive.
No, and you don’t just want to upgrade. When you have the chance to install the newer version of windows choose custom options. This will create a system restore. I believe the directory will be something like
C:/WINDOWS.old
Then just go into the user file and you’ll find what you need. The only thing that you’ll remotely lose is your applications. Those you’ll have to re-download/install. Good luck and best of wishes
no u wont….i upgraded myself….still have everything….make sure u upgrade not full install or watever the second option is…..
