How To Do A Windows 7 Clean Install On A Win7 Laptop When They Come Out?
Will I be able to use a serial from a windows 7 preinstalled laptop to do a clean (non crapware) install if I use a retail image from the web?
because I take it the only disc i will get will be a reset to factory settings one.
(so I download a retail disc, then use the serial from my laptop that I will purchase with win7 preinstalled to do a clean install from the retail disc?)

My understanding is that the OEM versions are technically different and activate differently than the retail ones.
I don’t believe you can use your OEM serial with the retail version of the OS.
Usually the things the OEM’s add on aren’t too hard to remove after install if that’s what you want to do.
