How Can I Update My Hp Pavilion Dv2700 Drivers To My Newly Installed Windows 7?
I have Altec Lansing Speakers BXR1121 and they worked great until I upgraded my operating system tp windows 7. Now I can’t get any sound from my computer and it won’t let me update the drivers in the device manager. Can anyone help?

Good question
You may need to download the drivers seperately from the manufacturer of your motherboard. Download and install CPU Z and it will tell you the motherboard/mainboard. Once done, google Windows 7 and your Motherboard’s model “drivers”.

check there not muted, if there not find the motherboard or sound card brand and model and do a goole search for the drivers then install them, may work
I have Vista. Go into audio manager,~ check that your speakers are not Muted, and there is a test there for my computer system.
