Can I Install Windows Xp Professional X64 Over Either Windows Vista Ultimate X86 And Windows 7 X86?
I have a partition on my disk on which i have both vista and windows 7 but they both are 32-bit. I was wondering if i can install Windows XP x64 on my laptop. Its Acer 6920 and could you tell me the method of installing. Do i just restart the computer, go in to the bios settings and select the cd and run it?

well it all depends on your processor because xp X64 is only supported by 64bit processors. if your laptop does have a 64 bit processor then put the cd in and shut down your computer. restart it and hold F8 then select to boot from your cd driver first and itll do the rest.
you can install over those. I recommend making another partition, or using a Flash drive if available, and moving all your important files, videos, photos, etc. to the new partition or flash drive. You may be able to press f8, when your boot screen starts up to get a boot menu. If not, then through the bios would be the way to go. The best way to install Windows XP would be through a Clean install, so there’s less chances of any issues arising, which would wipe the partition you want to install on clean, which is why I recommend moving important stuff to a new one. Also be sure that your processor is capable of running a 64 bit OS.
u need 3 hard drives for that or 6 harddrive(altogether) to do that.
install 1 os per hard drive and bck one up to each extra drive.
