Here’s the full “Custom Install” step by step:

    1. Download utorrent, and install it. (search it from google or yahoo)
    2. Go to http://software.opensuse.org/112/en click on 64 bit, bittorrent, then download it. It will take a while to finish.
    3. Download imgburn (to burn a dvd) and install it.
    4. Use imgburn to burn the file you downloaded in step 2 to a blank dvd. (burn it as a .iso file at a slow burn rate)
    5. Open the dvd from a folder menu, and double click and install. Then restart your computer, and follow through the installation.
    6. You now have linux, and you are now free from Windows and Microsoft forever!

  3. Backup anything you’re going to need later.
Run the install again, but don’t select to “upgrade” when you’re given the choice — choose to “custom” install.
If you boot from the disc you should have formatting and partitioning options too if you want them.

    Hello James,
You will want to make sure you have backed up all your data and keep your previous OS disk handy: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo…
