How Can I Get Rid Of Microsoft Windows 7?

I’m thinking of buying a Windows Vista desktop computer with a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it comes out. I hear many good things about 7, but I’m wondering… If I upgrade to 7 from Vista, will 7′s performance be worse, than it would be if you bought a computer with 7 already installed?
Ive just brought a UPEK Eikon and want to know if i can use it in conjunction with Bitlocker on windows 7 rtm.
At the moment im using a usb stick to unlock my computer when it boots up, but wondering if its possible to scan a fingerprint instead?
If not, do you know any disk encryption software that will allow this??
Thanks in advance!
Ok so I want to upgrade to windows 7 for free and I don’t have a receipt because I made a cash offer for my toshiba laptop at a store that was going out of business. Can I still get windows 7 for free?
I currently have 64 bit Vista, and when Windows 7 coms out, I want it. Vista is horrible. Anyways, about how much money will it cost to upgrade? And people have been saying that between July and January coming up you will get a free upgrade? Is that just new cpu’s bought, or if you already have one, willyou be able to get the free upgrade?
I installed Windows 7 on a partition on my C Drive, and I would like to delete it. I’ve tried going to Manage, and then Disk Management, but whenever I try to delete it it says that, ‘the partition has page files or boot files in it’. I’m not sure what that mean, so I really need to get rid of this partition. Please help.
I’m running vista and am trying to upgrade to windows 7 beta, but am wondering how to complete save my computer as is, before in case the beta of windows 7 is flawed.
So, I want to have a back up of programs docs basically everything in case i need to revert to vista.
I’m holding off on buying my next laptop until Windows 7 is available. When is that most likely to happen?
And does ordering a computer with a new version of Windows generally cost more when it’s first released? (As compared to the situation with Vista right now, where it usually costs MORE to get the older XP.)
Thanks!
Okay So i want to be able to select either XP or Windows 7 on startup, for incase I dont like windows 7, and I know reverting is not a easy process, so how do I do this, and will my normal Xp boot up be exactly the same than ever before after I had a windows 7 dual boot?
I would like to (if possible) just get rid of windows 7 and start using vista again.
I do not have a Vista CD as my Laptop came with it built in.
